Mosch, Josephin
Josephin Mosch is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Heidelberg Medical School. Her extracurricular activities includes participation in an academic circle for multidisciplinary oncology and an internship at Fresenius Medical Care these helped strengthened Josephin’s wish to learn more about research. She worked on a project about tumor infiltrating lymphocytes in carcinomas with microsatellite instability in the laboratory for Applied Tumor Biology at the German Cancer Research Center. During her ongoing studies, Josephin’s interest in internal medicine and especially cardiology grew stronger and she decided to apply for a research exchange program with the goal to deepen her knowledge in cardiovascular research. Josephin sees this opportunity in the laboratory at BWH as a valuable insight in research processes and as a chance to develop an integrated comprehension of the link between research and medical practice. Josephin started in the Aikawa-Aikawa Laboratories in September 2014.
