Mario is a student of the Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo. He published a systematic review about prevalence of dementia in Brazil and is the former director of Scientific Department and Infrastructure Coordinator of University Medical Congress (COMU). He joined the Aikawa-Aikawa group on March 2017 and works with Toshiaki Nakano at Center for Excellence in Vascular Biology.
